Just as we carefully choose our words before speaking, editing is a crucial part of communication. I ensure that every text, word, and sentence in every post, picture, blog, or video is necessary and accurate. I also edit for tone and sensitivity to help brands stay conscious and relevant.

Guidebook To Landing A Data Analyst Job

Edited a guidebook for aspiring data analysts, my first foray into technical editing. Though it was outside my comfort zone, I embraced the challenge and thoroughly enjoyed the process of learning while shaping the content for clarity and impact.

The Makings of Revolutionary Hope Anthology

co-edited this anthology with members of Liberation Alliance Africa. The anthology housed stories, poems, essays and art reimagining Africa as a decolonised and feminist continent.

Dare to Thrive

edited this guide-book calling on muslim women to invest and pour into their lives as much as they pour into the lives of families and friends.

Kaduna OGP Document

I was invited to edit the Kaduna Open Government Policy document, highlighting the state's commitment to good governance, policy co-creation and fight against corruption.

On my podcast, I read from the words and magic of writers. It is both my pleasure and my way of promoting writers (especially poets from Africa)

At Liberation Alliance Africa, I co-create our quarterly newsletter, LiberTea. In LiberTea, we tell stories that highlight our work ad promote resources and opportunities for dreamers and crusaders of a feminist, liberated and decolonised Africa.

The Evolution of Hausa Poetry

I curated and moderated this intergenrational panel at the Hausa International Books and Arts festival 2023 where we discussed the evolution of poetry in Nigeria. It has always been interesting to see poetry shift from its roots in realism and obligations towards upholding social values to what it is now manifesting in surrealism and imaginative poetry. One thing I thoroughly enjoy is moderating or hosting corporate events. Ideally, I love to host and speak on topics related to literature, sexual and reproductive health rights, as well as climate and economic justice.

Kano International Poetry Festival- Eid Pop Up 2025

Following the success of the 2024 KAPFEST, I curated and moderated a pop-up event that brought together poets and enthusiasts to celebrate the festival’s achievements and generate early engagement around the 2nd edition's theme: ‘Poetry in a Time of Crisis.’ The event generated excitement, and have set the stage for meaningful conversations ahead of the next edition.

moderated a session on ways to prevent and manage the discrimination of vulnerable and marginalised groups in the country.

moderated a session linking arts and feminism and celebrating feminist joy as resisitance.
